After obtaining my bachelor’s degree in computer science, I built my career in project management and business analytics. During my 15+ years at Pomeroy (Hebron, KY), I gained certifications in Six Sigma, ITIL and a PMP, and was awarded "Project Manager of the Year" in 2013.
My passion for learning and unwavering interest in programming drove me to complete several online courses over the years, including data science, software development methodologies, and the fundamentals of both Python and Java. In April 2020, I completed a 14-week Java Bootcamp to become a certified full stack developer.
As an analytical and results-oriented professional, I am driven by a passion for developing relationships, pursuing challenges, and improving outcomes. I'm always seeking new challenges and enjoy working collaboratively with others to accomplish a common goal.

"In some ways, programming is like painting. You start with a blank canvas and certain basic raw materials. You use a combination of science, art, and craft to determine what to do with them. You sketch out an overall shape, paint the underlying environment, then fill in the details. You constantly step back with a critical eye to view what you've done. Every now and then you'll throw a canvas away and start again. But artists will tell you that all the hard work is ruined if you don't know when to stop. If you add layer upon layer, detail over detail, the painting becomes lost in the paint."
